We all know about the importance of recycling what we can, reusing where possible and reducing our consumption of plastic bottles.
In the BROWNS Elevate calendar, April is the International Recycling Awareness Month and at BROWNS, we have started some projects and initiatives to have best practice in terms of doing our part. Firstly, we have invested in recycling bins which separate different items, and also in a filtered water tap system in order to reduce the plastic bottles which are bought.
Secondly, last week our High School students participated in an awareness raising activity, which was followed up by an art class using the theme of recycle, reduce, reuse. At the end of this week there will be a winner for each campus – see the photos for a sample of what they achieved. In addition, last Friday, all of our adult students on Friday had their speaking and listening lessons with the theme of Recycling awareness.
