🌟 Our Amazing Week of Learning and Fun
What an incredible week it has been. From the moment we stepped onto campus, we knew we were in for something special — but this week exceeded every expectation. Each day brought new experiences, new skills, and new reasons to feel proud of how far we’ve come.
🍳 Monday: Cooking, Creativity, and Confidence
We kicked off the week with cooking and recipes, and it was so much more than just following instructions. We learned new vocabulary, practised giving instructions, and even created our own video tutorials. It was a delicious way to start the week and a great boost to our speaking confidence.
👨👩👧 Tuesday: Talking About Family
Sharing stories about our families helped us connect with each other on a deeper level. We practised describing people, relationships, and traditions — and discovered how much we all have in common.
🏙 Wednesday: Exploring “My Town”
This day was all about describing places, giving directions, and talking about our hometowns. We learned how to paint a picture with words and express what makes our towns unique. It was a great chance to practise reallife communication.
🕰 Thursday: Present Perfect in Action
Grammar day might sound serious, but it turned out to be one of the most useful sessions of the week. We learned how to use the present perfect to talk about life experiences — and suddenly so many English conversations made more sense.
🐨 Friday: Aussie Animals and Reading
We ended the week with a fun and fascinating reading session about Australian animals. From koalas to kangaroos, we expanded our vocabulary and learned more about the wildlife that makes Australia so special.
🎉 What We Learned
This week wasn’t just about lessons — it was about growth. We improved our speaking, reading, grammar, and confidence. We learned from each other, supported each other, and had plenty of laughs along the way.
Most importantly, we realised how much progress we can make in just a few days when we stay curious, open, and engaged.
