Alec from Switzerland commenced his studies at BROWNS English Language School (BROWNS) in the Intensive General English (IGE) program. At BROWNS, students have the flexibility to seamlessly change courses or campuses. After several weeks in the IGE program, Alec decided he wanted a bit more of a challenge and transferred to the Cambridge First Certificate English (FCE) Preparation course. Here’s what he had to say about his experience.
“BROWNS English Language School – Best experience ever!!!
When I arrived the first day on the Gold Coast, I was really afraid of what to expect, but after getting into the BROWNS Student House and getting to know my housemates (future classmates) all kind of fear was gone. All the people around me are special and they are contributing day after day to make this experience unforgettable!
The staff make you feel immediately at home and they are all very kind. Every day we have free activities which encourages you to get more in touch with the people of the campus.
The teachers are all very cool and the lessons are so interactive and fun that you will forget that you’re studying in a school.
I’m currently in BROWNS’ Cambridge preparation course. It is challenging however Tom is a super teacher, always ready to explain or help you to understand something you didn’t.
What else? I’ll never thank this school enough for what they are giving to me. I’ll always love them and remember them as a family! ♥♥“
