Monday, 10th February 2025:
This Monday, we kicked off the week with exciting energy, exploring Brisbane and learning about its geography. We started by locating Brisbane on the map and discovering its unique location along the Brisbane River. We talked about the city’s history, landmarks, and how the river shapes daily life. We took part in fun activities, identifying famous places like South Bank, the Story Bridge, and Brisbane City. We also discussed different ways people travel around the city—by ferry, bus, bike, and even on foot.
In the afternoon, we got creative with a fun craft session, making colourful bracelets. We used beads, threads, and different designs to create unique pieces, expressing our creativity and sharing them with friends. It was a relaxing and enjoyable way to end the day.
Brisbane is a city full of adventure, and we loved learning about its geography through interactive activities. What a fantastic way to start the week.

Today, we focused on daily routines, practicing the present simple tense and learning new vocabulary about our everyday activities. From waking up in the morning to going to bed at night, we explored different actions like brushing our teeth, having breakfast, going to school, and playing with friends. We did fun exercises to reinforce our learning, creating sentences and acting out different parts of the day. It was a great way to build confidence in using English for real-life situations.
In the afternoon, we had a class party. We played games, watched fun videos, and enjoyed delicious snacks together. It was a fantastic way to wrap up the day, celebrating our progress and having a great time with friends.
Learning about daily routines was both educational and fun, making our day full of laughter and teamwork.

We talked about our favourite sports, how they are played, and why exercise is important for a healthy lifestyle. We practiced using sports-related words in sentences and had fun conversations about our favourite teams and hobbies. It was a great way to improve our English while sharing our interests. The target grammar was the use of “go, play and do” before sports’ names.
In the afternoon, we had an exciting gaming session. We played video games and had a blast dancing to Just Dance, showing off our best moves and enjoying the music together. It was an energetic and fun-filled day, combining learning with movement and entertainment.

On Saturday, we had a fantastic trip to Paradise Country, a remarkable place on the Gold Coast filled with farm activities and great food. We got to experience a real farm lifestyle, meeting adorable animals like koalas, dingoes and sheep. We also watched incredible farm shows, including sheep shearing and stock horse demonstrations, which gave us a glimpse into Australia’s rural traditions. The highlight of the day was our delicious lunch. We enjoyed a delightful meal together, relaxing under the shade and taking in the beautiful countryside views. Before heading back, we explored the souvenir shop, picking out little treasures to remember this amazing experience. It was a perfect way to end an adventurous and educational week.
