Gold Coast Junior Camp – January 2018 (Week 1)
It’s been great welcoming this year’s group of summer juniors on the Gold Coast. This week the students have learnt lots of new words associated with their afternoon activities, and have been writing diaries of their experiences also. So far this week we have taken some amazing panoramic photos from the top of Q1, the tallest building in Australia, played sports and had picnics in the park, got dizzy from jumping at the trampoline park in Burleigh, painted some boomerangs with Aboriginal “dot painting” art, and had heaps of enjoyment (on the hottest day of the year) at Dreamworld on the roller coasters and all the other rides. We’re looking forward to next week now!
