Last week our High School Preparation students had the pleasure of being invited by EQI (Education Queensland International) to their presentation to all international students at EQI state schools on the Gold Coast. This was not only a wonderful opportunity to visit Bond University and listen to speeches by principals and the head of EQI Gold Coast, but also to meet other students already in the school system, to meet their future teachers and international co-ordinators and best of all to speak to BROWNS alumni who have made it to school.

As they all admitted, they are finding the experience of being in the school system very rewarding but also difficult, so it was marvelous for BROWNS students to hear firsthand from friends how hard they need to work. Naturally, everyone was very hungry afterward and enjoyed the sausages and bread before we all went back on the tram.
