For the last four weeks, BROWNS English Language School had the opportunity to provide a first class experience to the students from the ADEC Summer Abroad Program. The program is being delivered by the Department of Education, Training and Employment and Browns English Language School on behalf of Abu Dhabi Education Council.
Summer Abroad is one of the most popular programs that the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) operates. This program sponsors high achieving national students from grades 10th and 11th to travel overseas for a short period of time (four weeks in 2013). Throughout this period, students not only undertake academic English classes, they also experience a cultural exchange and they have the opportunity to promote to others a positive view of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), its people, culture and beliefs.
The students from ADEC had a lovely time in Australia and they all said that they would love to come back.
We look forward to meeting a new group next year.
