Jiyeong Maeng “Hi, my name is Jiyeong Maeng and I’m from Seoul, Korea. I’m studying with BROWNS English Language School. When I first started my class, I did find it a bit hard to adapt to becoming a student once again. I completed my course in Korea many years ago so it was a big change for me to get into a classroom again. But with the help of my teachers and classmates, I was able to adapt pretty quick to be able to focus on my studies.”

Marcelle Buist “My name is Marcelle Buist, I am the Director of Partnerships and Marketing. Here at BROWNS, we have the whole student experience, we have our English language classes, we have a whole range of activities each afternoon. I can tell you, the classrooms are fun, learning environment, that use a range of multimedia in order to cater to the individual needs of each of the students.”

Jiyeong Maeng “I like all classes, practical, useful and funny but I enjoy the Accelerate class the most. It’s like more pre-studying but we have a teacher to ask anything about learning English. It’s absolutely helpful. I always have a one-on-one session with my teacher to understand where I stand and how I can further improve myself. “

“My teachers at BROWNS English Language School told me that I can continue to study in Australia in either a Certificate or a Diploma program with TAFE Queensland using their pathway option. I’m going to use that option to study Commercial Cookery with TAFE Queensland. “
