Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, QLD

Gold Coast is one of the most touristy destinations in Australia. It is renown for its beautiful beaches, white sand and breathtaking sights.

One of the greatest places to visit is Burleigh Heads and Palm Beach, and there are many ways to get there. The city of the Gold Coast has two main types of public transportation: Bus and Tram. They are very handy and you can check the online schedules on the App (My Translink).

If you are looking for stunning views, you can not miss the opportunity to walk around Burleigh Heads National Park. There are two tracks, one of them takes you to the “Oceanview” and the other leads you to the “Rainforest circuit“. It is worth visiting both of them, not only because of the views but also to feel connected to nature. During the trekking, you may be lucky to get to know some species of birds such as Kookaburras and Bush Turkeys.

There are a lot of different places for those who are not interested in exploring the park. For example restaurants, cafes, and ice cream shops. In addition, you can enjoy fun activities like surfing lessons or having a picnic. Talking of activities, we strongly recommend you watch the sunset. It could be the best part of your experience in Burleigh Heads.
